Di Meo, Europe’s most prestigious calendar, told the world about Istanbul’s history, architecture, art and culture. The promotional program of the calendar took place in Çırağan Palace with the international coordination and hosting of the Bosphorus Center for Global Affairs.
Published for the 17th time this year, the Di Meo Calendar has brought Lisbon, Vienna, Moscow, Paris, Marrakech and London to its pages, highlighting the cultural partnerships between Naples and these cities. The Di Meo calendar chooses a city for its calendar every year and chose Istanbul thanks to efforts of our center.
International intellectuals, academics, artists, royalty, celebrities and business executives from all over the world came together for the calendar introductory ceremony at the Çırağan Palace, which was built by Sultan Abdülaziz. Bringing together about 700 guests from Europe as well as distinguished names from Türkiye, the Di Meo calendar also contributed greatly to the promotion of Istanbul and Türkiye’s prestige.
